2. Die Hauptstadt:<\/strong>\u00a0Die Hauptstadt Lusaka sollte urspr\u00fcnglich 200 000 Menschen beherbergen - heute sind es \u00fcber 1,5 Millionen! Die erste Hauptstadt Sambias war die Stadt Livingstone<\/p>\n

3. Wasserfall:<\/strong>\u00a0In Sambia gibt es insgesamt 17 Wasserf\u00e4lle - 10 davon befinden sich im Norden des Landes. Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte, sch\u00f6nste und bekannteste ist Victoria Falls im S\u00fcden des Landes an der Grenze zu Simbabwe<\/p>\n

4. Wetter und Klima:<\/strong>\u00a0Von Oktober bis April ist die Regenzeit im Land, die mit mehreren \"Regenst\u00fcrmen\" einhergeht und am ehesten an einen ostasiatischen Monsun erinnert. Ansonsten ist das Klima mild und die Temperaturen erreichen selten 35 Grad Celsius.<\/p>\n

7. Bergbau:<\/strong>\u00a0In Sambia wird seit mehr als 2000 Jahren Bergbau betrieben, wobei vor allem Kupfer und Eisen abgebaut werden. Kupfer ist nach wie vor Sambias wichtigste nat\u00fcrliche Ressource, und das Land ist der f\u00fcnftgr\u00f6\u00dfte Kupferproduzent der Welt.<\/p>\n

8. Die Armut:<\/strong>\u00a0Sambia ist eines der \u00e4rmsten L\u00e4nder der Welt und rangiert auf dem UN-Index f\u00fcr menschliche Entwicklung ganz unten. 64% der Bev\u00f6lkerung leben unterhalb der Armutsgrenze. 14,9% aller Kinder sind untergewichtig<\/p>\n

9. David Livingstone:<\/strong>\u00a0Der erste Europ\u00e4er, der nach Sambia kam, war der Portugiese Francisco de Lacerda im sp\u00e4ten 18. Im 19. Jahrhundert kamen weitere Europ\u00e4er in das Land. Von ihnen war der Brite David Livingstone der prominenteste mit seiner Vision, die Sklaverei durch \"Christentum, Handel und Zivilisation\" zu beenden. Die Stadt Livingstone ist nach ihm benannt.<\/p>\n

10. Nordrhodesien:<\/strong>\u00a0Im Jahr 1888 erhielt das britische Unternehmen \"BSA Company\" die Sch\u00fcrfrechte f\u00fcr einen Teil des Landes, der sp\u00e4ter Nordwest-Rhodesien genannt wurde. Die andere H\u00e4lfte des Landes wurde dagegen als Nordost-Rhodesien bezeichnet. Im Jahr 1911 wurden die beiden Landesteile jedoch zur britischen Kolonie Nordrhodesien vereinigt. S\u00fcdrhodesien war das heutige Simbabwe. 1964 wurde Sambia ein unabh\u00e4ngiges Land und hatte seitdem 3 Verfassungen<\/p>\n
