Pluto) - (Oort-skyen) - (heliosf\u00e6ren)<\/p>\n<p>De enkelte elementene omtales n\u00e6rmere nedenfor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Planetene i solsystemet:<\/strong>\u00a0Solsystemet v\u00e5rt best\u00e5r av 8 planeter (Merkur, Venus, Jorden, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptun) og 5 dvergplaneter (Ceres, Makemake, Haumea, Eris, Pluto) samt tusenvis av asteroider og kometer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Asteroider:<\/strong>\u00a0De fleste asteroidene i solsystemet v\u00e5rt befinner seg mellom planetene Mars og Jupiters bane og kalles ganske enkelt \"asteroidebeltet\".\n<ul>\n<li>Eksperter ansl\u00e5r at asteroidebeltet mellom Mars og Jupiter inneholder mer enn 750 000 asteroider med en diameter p\u00e5 1 km eller mer, i tillegg til millioner av mindre asteroider og meteoritter (steiner).<\/li>\n<li>Noen av asteroidene har baner som gj\u00f8r at de av og til kolliderer med Jorden eller andre planeter i det indre solsystemet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kometer:<\/strong>\u00a0De fleste kometene i solsystemet befinner seg lenger unna Jorden enn Pluto og finnes i Kuiperbeltet og Oort-skyen.\n<ul>\n<li>Kometene i solsystemet best\u00e5r hovedsakelig av is og stein. Solen har ogs\u00e5 et magnetfelt (heliosf\u00e6ren) som omslutter hele solsystemet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>M\u00e5ner:<\/strong>\u00a0Nesten alle planetene i solsystemet v\u00e5rt - og noen av m\u00e5nene - har atmosf\u00e6rer. De kjemiske stoffene som finnes i de enkelte atomsf\u00e6rene, varierer imidlertid mye, og oppf\u00f8rselen til atmosf\u00e6rene (p\u00e5 grunn av forskjeller i planetenes baner) er ogs\u00e5 forskjellig. For eksempel kollapser Plutos atmosf\u00e6re n\u00e5r planeten g\u00e5r i bane langt unna solen. Atmosf\u00e6ren gjenopprettes n\u00e5r planeten n\u00e6rmer seg solen. Oort-skyen inneholder opptil 2 billioner isete objekter og et sv\u00e6rt stort antall kometer.
