Dit betekent dat alle planeten, astero\u00efden, kometen, enz. slechts de resterende 0,14% vormen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zonlicht:<\/strong>\u00a0Het zonlicht dat we vandaag zien is meer dan 30.000 jaar oud omdat het meer dan 30.000 jaar geleden in het binnenste van de zon werd gevormd. Vanaf het moment dat het licht het oppervlak van de zon verlaat, duurt het slechts 8 minuten om de aarde te bereiken.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mars en Aarde:<\/strong>\u00a0Sommige gesteenten op aarde zijn stukken van Mars<\/li>\n<li><strong>Olympus Mons:<\/strong>\u00a0Olympus Mons op Mars is de hoogste berg in ons zonnestelsel. Hij is 27 km hoog en 600 km breed (ter vergelijking: de Mount Everest is ongeveer 8 km hoog).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturnus:<\/strong>\u00a0De dichtheid van Saturnus is zo laag dat de hele planeet zou drijven als hij in water stond<\/li>\n<li><strong>Het magnetische veld van Jupiter:<\/strong>\u00a0Het magnetische veld van Jupiter is zo massief dat het elke dag miljarden watt toevoegt aan het magnetische veld van de aarde.<\/li>\n<li><strong>De zwaartekracht van Jupiter:<\/strong>\u00a0In zekere zin beschermt Jupiter de andere planeten in het zonnestelsel, omdat zijn enorme omvang inkomende kometen en dergelijke aantrekt (door de zwaartekracht). Een voorbeeld hiervan is een komeet die in 1770 door de Franse astronoom Pierre-Simon Laplace werd waargenomen; de komeet was op weg naar de aarde, maar werd door de zwaartekracht van Jupiter naar binnen getrokken en zo volledig uit het zonnestelsel verwijderd.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pluto:<\/strong>\u00a01 jaar op Pluto duurt 248 jaar hier op aarde.
